Website displaying wrong description on search engine

    Hi there,

I have an issue with how the website description and title is displayed on search engines. I've been experiencing this problem for a while now.

It's driving me up the wall, as I've checked every single setting and can't figure out why it's not working. I added a meta description and meta keywords for the index page and other pages months ago, but the description for each page is still not displaying correctly on search engines. I know it's not an issue of Google not indexing my website, as I added this information months ago.

I will attach screenshots to this ticket for an easier explanation of what I mean.

Could you please guide and help me in fixing this issue? Thank you.

You need to use the Google Search Console tool and add your website to manage GG searches.

In this tool you will see the items that need to be edited.

If you do not have knowledge in this field, you need to contact an SEO service provider for help.

    Thank you!

    Hi Naik,

I have been using the Google Search Console tool from day one and added my website to it, weeks ago.

I also cannot see any items that can be edited and as I mentioned before it's about how the description of the website looks like in the search engine, like how I shown in the screenshots. It's got nothing to do with indexing the pages ect.

Also there's no tool on there that I can see that let's you customise how the search engine displays your website properly. I don't know what I'm missing.

Google Search Console does not allow you to directly edit or customise how your website appears in search results. Its primary function is to help website owners understand and improve how Google views their site.

So please Naik if you can tell me how to resolve this, I'd appreciate it.

Are you sure to update Prestashop's SEO value?

If you have updated enough for all the languages you are using, you need to wait for the GG console tool to update. You also need to make sure your robots.txt file does not block GG's auto BOT tool.

    Thank you!

I already updated all the Prestashop's SEO values in all languages weeks ago and i requested indexing on the google console tool so it fast tracks the indexing for the website.

I will attach screenshots again to show you.

Also how do i know if the robots.txt file is not blocking google because I attached a screenshot and it says it's valid?

I really need help to resolve this as it's a big issue, I appreciate your help.

If you have updated to our latest Akira then you need to contact Prestashop's support team for assistance.

The SEO system comes from the default Prestashop. The meta description tag on your head is also fully present.

    Thank you!
